ILWU members OK pact (Journal of Commerce Onlin)

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- The membership of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union has ratified a new six-year contract that calls for a total wage increase of about 16 percent over the life of the contract, and pension benefits approaching $80,000 per year.
